Vision Statement
Our vision is to empower our students to grow and achieve
their maximum potential as life-long learners and
contributing members of our ever-changing society.
Every student uses their academic, career, and social and emotional skills
in order to grow and develop into assertive, driven, resilient, and responsible human beings within our school community,
and the countless opportunities in the world beyond.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Linda Childers Knapp Elementary School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program
that highlights the academic, career, and social and emotional development
of all learners in a safe and nurturing community.
By fostering an environment where all students feel safe and empowered, we are committed to mitigating barriers and advocating for equitable access, so that every child is inspired to maximize their unique potential.
Our mission is based on the following beliefs:
When students feel safe and loved, they then feel vulnerable to appreciate
who they were created to be.
All students have the potential to learn and grow at high capacities.
All students are important and have unique strengths
to offer our school family.
Through acceptance and mutual respect for self and one another, we will celebrate successes, both the big and the small.
With grit and a growth mindset, all students can achieve their
post education and/or career goals.
