Wrangler Families: One more reminder that Bus #145 WILL be running today. See you soon.

Wrangler Families: New Bus Information for the week of Feb. 1 - 5. Bus #145 WILL BE running Monday morning. Please be at your stop a little early to ensure you are picked up. Bus #155 will NOT run on Monday or Tuesday, but will resume it's route beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Please email Mrs. Eads or call the front office if your child cannot get to and from school each day and we will code it as a blended day.

Wrangler Families: Students who are taking advantage of Credit Recovery, we are CHANGING the days. All students, 8th or 9th grade, who are currently in Credit Recovery will ONLY attend Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning Feb. 2. We will not have Credit Recovery on Monday or Friday mornings. All students in Credit Recovery will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Feb. 2 until Feb. 25. Please call the school and ask for Mrs. Eads if you have questions.

Food insecurity is a real issue in NWA and around the country. Families with children attending George Junior High School now have an opportunity for food assistance with our bi-monthly drive-thru food bank. Complete the GJHS Drive-Thru Food Bank Application to sign up for this opportunity. Families must fill out the form for each pick-up date. The next pick-up date is Friday, January 29th. The deadline to complete the application is Thursday, January 28th at 12:00pm. The pick-up time will be from 3:00pm-4:00pm in the front of the school. Wrangler Families: Buses $145 and #155 will NOT be running this week. If you can get your student to and from school each day we will excuse a late note and will stay until 5 pm for them to get picked up. If this is not an option, please have them email Mrs. Eads and they need to be working from home on Google Classroom. Students please email your teachers about your work and questions you have or help you need.

Wrangler Families: Buses #145 and #155 will NOT be running this morning or this afternoon. If you can, please make other arrangements for your child to get to and from school. If you cannot make other arrangements, have your student email Mrs. Eads or you can call the office and let us know. Sorry for the inconvenience. Your student needs to be working online in Google Classroom if they are remaining at home.

Wrangler Families: IMPORTANT: If your student rides bus #155 home in the afternoon please plan on coming to GJHS by 4 pm to pick them up. We will NOT have Bus #155 this afternoon or Friday morning/afternoon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Wrangler Families: Bus #145 will not be running a morning or afternoon route today or Friday. If you plan to take your student to school, please have someone ready to pick them up by 4:00. If you cannot get your student to school or pick them up, they should be getting on Google Classroom and doing work from home. Have your student email their teachers about assignments they complete and questions they might have. We are sorry for this inconvenience and are glad the district provided Chromebooks for students to continue to use them from home in these situations. We are hoping the bus will be running on Monday, Jan. 25. Please call the GJHS office between 7:30 and 4:30 if you have questions.

Wrangler Families: Over the past week or so, we have noticed several issues that needed to be addressed or friendly reminders regarding your student's Chromebooks and/or the use of your student's Chromebooks.  Please read the following important information.  This information will not only save you money on damages, it will also help keep your students safe.  (Any charges that you receive for damages to your student's Chromebooks here at GJHS will follow them to their next school (High School or another Junior High).  They will not receive a Chromebook there until their charges have been paid). Hopefully by following these reminders, the amount of charged damages will be minimal.  Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!.

Wrangler Families: Unfortunately Bus #145 will not be running today, tomorrow or Thursday. Please make other arrangements to get your students to school and home. If you have trouble doing this everyday, call the GJHS office between 7:30-4:30 and let us know. Again we apologize for the inconvenience.

Wrangler Families: At this time all bus routes will be running tomorrow. Please watch FB for announcements or changes. We will try to post any cancellations or changes in bus numbers by 6:30 am so that parents can arrange for alternate transportation. We are sorry for the inconveniences this causes. Please call GJHS if you have questions or concerns. Office Hours are from 7:30 - 4:30 daily.

Wrangler Families: Report cards went home with students on Friday. If your student did not pass a core class first semester, they may have also received a letter explaining how they could recover that credit and avoid Summer School. Please read it carefully. If you have questions call Mrs. Eads Tuesday, Jan. 19.

We will now be testing our 8th grade students all day tomorrow (January 13th), and then we will test our 9th grade students all day on Thursday (January 14th). Again, please be present, on time, and try to avoid scheduling any appointments on your student's testing day. Please also make sure that your students bring their Chromebook fully charged to school everyday, but even more so on the day they test.
